Living in Maine for 37 years my work has been influenced by all of the natural beauty here. I started painting at a young age and received a BFA from Pratt Institute School of Art & Design. After graduating I practiced graphic design in New York City and Portland, Maine. Now I’m focused on my love of creating fine art.

The visual aesthetic in my work originates from my experiences in natural and built environments. My process is to capture colors, shapes, and textures that are inspired by the natural environment. In the formation of the composition I use these visual elements to create an image that has balance and movement.

My work is in private collections, corporate and public spaces, online art gallery Zatista, and wholesale art reproductions distributor Image Conscious.
